ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN is an authentic knit brand established in 2009 with the desire to pass on the traditional knit culture of Denmark, a maritime nation. Introducing a simple and ultimate turtleneck sweater.
It is made with a classic and advanced manufacturing method, not a simple construction that connects separately knitted parts on the back side, but a construction that ignores the cost, knitting everything at once while changing the knitting method and direction. The fabric uses high-quality merino wool spun in Italy, heavily and roughly knitted with 5 gauge, so it is heavy yet has an elegant texture. The body is heavy, weighing over 1.0 kg in total, making it quite a heavyweight. The delicate construction, yet traditional, rugged, and masculine finish is attractive.
Also, the front and back designs are the same, so it can be worn without distinguishing between front and back. This is a design made so that busy sailors can put it on quickly, and is similar to old navy sweaters. It is likely rooted in the Guernsey sweater, which is said to be the prototype of various fisherman sweaters. Overall clean, but the hand area has been reinforced.
