| Made in Texas The GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C from Larson Electronics is a Solar Powered Dual LED Indicator Light that is a reliable lighting solution for remote areas and standalone applications where connection to external power is either impractical or unavailable. The 7-watt lamps offer 360 degrees of illumination. Charged by NEMA 3R solar panel, three 20aH lithium-ion batteries provide constant, reliable power to the LED lights. The GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C is outfitted with a weatherproof inline switch. The GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C is a sustainable lighting solution for remote sites. Designed with a dual-lamp configuration, the weatherproof 7-watt lights operate on 12V DC. Three 20aH lithium-ion batteries charged by a NEMA 3R solar panel provide constant, reliable power to the units. During use, each LED light offers an output of 1,235 candela. Light color options include the following: red, white, blue, green or amber. The lamp housing is waterproof, constructed of corrosion and chemical resistant polycarbonate with Pyrex globe that is USCG accepted, ABS Type approved, NEMA 4X compliant and suitable for hose-down areas. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. Solid-state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Power: This GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C is powered by three 20aH lithium-ion batteries that are recharged by the solar panel. These rechargeable batteries provide a continuous supply of steady, reliable power. The battery pack is contained within the solar panel, not the light. Charging time for the battery bank is 5 hours when exposed to direct sunlight. As with all solar powered equipment, charging time is affected by the amount of available ambient light. Indirect sunlight and low ambient light levels, such as on cloudy days, will extend the charge time. Inline Switch: The GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C is equipped a weatherproof inline switch. The switch functions as the only means of powering the light on and off. Wiring: The GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C is equipped with 20 feet of 10/2 SOOW cord between the solar panel and battery enclosure, 60 feet of 10/2 SOOW between the battery enclosure and inline switch, and two 10 foot lengths of 10/2 SOOW split by a Y-connector. Each 10' length leads to one of the light fixtures. This allows for a maximum distance of 20 feet between the two light fixtures. Mounting: The GAU-LED-2X80-STB-SOL-60C-ILS-20C-20C features an inverted pendant mount for compatible surfaces, walls or ceilings.
